The FitFlow Yoga Teacher Training Course is the most well respected Yoga Fitness module in Canada. Graduates are in demand to teach in Fitness Centers, Recreation Facilities, and Resorts. In this informative, intensive, and practical course, we will cover the correct alignment of over 40 yoga postures (asanas), and the foundational yoga breathing exercises (pranayama) that bring yoga to life. You will learn class design, effective cueing, and how to use the language and philosophy of yoga so your classes will not only improve your students fitness levels, but also enhance the connection of the Mind/Body/Spirit that is the heart of yoga.

Course content:

• Introduction to Yoga
• Pranayama (breath work)
• Asanas (yoga postures)
• Teaching tools
• Class design & management
• Leadership & communication skills
• Special populations

Prerequisites for Yoga for Fitness Certification

  • Successful completion of BCRPA Fitness Theory course or Exam. www.bcrpa.bc.ca 
  • Current CPR/First Aid
  • Some practical yoga experience.

* The FitFlow Yoga certification & BCRPA membership includes 2 million in liability Insurance.

Schedule: Fridays 6:00-10:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 10:00-5:00pm

Course Fee —  $495.00 (includes all taxes and the FitFlow Teachers Manual)
 * Ask about the $40.00 early bird discount!!
Cancelation Policy — Full Refund up to 2 weeks prior to start; $25.00 processing fee within 1 week of class start, no refund after course has started. If you cannot complete the course for medical reasons a transfer into another course is allowed if space is available.
